Thank You!

Sorry we haven't been keeping this blog up-to-date, we've been pretty busy, but...

We have some great news!

First of all...
We are now 76% funded! We are excited to be moving forward toward our goal with only a quarter left to go!

And second...
We Moved!
We took an opportunity to house sit for a lady in Sedro-Woolley (not Cedar-Woody, Jerry) for six months. I'm about 5 miles from our office/drop-in center! We are excited to be part of the Skagit Valley.

Thank you all for your many prayers and support! We are excited to be moving closer to working with Students here in the Valley!

Grace and Peace,
Jonas

Portland Hwa Rang Do Intraschool Tournament

We were in Portland a few weekends ago for Portland Hwa Rang Do's first ever intraschool tournament. I had a lot of fun competing, and it feels great to be back in something I enjoy so much. Enjoy the pictures!  For more info on Tae Soo Do and Hwa Rang Do click here

Workin' On My Smarts!

Just thought I would share a picture of one of my passions... SUDOKU. Okay, not a passion, but I guess I'm pretty addicted considering that I attempt to finish the daily puzzle in the paper every morning during Olivia's a.m. nap! I also dabble in the crossword puzzle but as you know, it gets harder everday as the week goes on. There's just something about accomplishing a sudoku puzzle that gets me goin' in the mornings! Since I don't drink coffee when I wake up, it's like my cup 0' joe... I try to be a little bit more productive during her p.m. nap just in case you're wondering :) By:Melanie

Blue Jeans and Ritz Crackers

Olivia has been sportin' her first pair of blue jeans.  Although I think they are so fun, they do kind of take away that baby look that comes with the bulging diaper in cotton pants.  They make her look a little more like a toddler; and even though she is 8 months old now, she is still my tiny little sugar bee.  I think I'm in denial that she's getting older...

Laundry inspires great things...

Olivia was helping me do laundry the other day and decided that she was ready to start pulling herself up!  She took hold of the laundry basket and just went to town... she's so stinkin' cute I can hardly stand it :)  I love the sly looks she gives me, too.
